Collaborative Law...Collaborative Practice...What's the Difference?
What is Collaborative Law?
Collaborative Law is a way for people who have a legal problem to work out a solution, with the help of lawyers, outside of the court system. When these people find lawyers who are willing to participate in settlement negotiations with the express, written condition that if they don't settle, the lawyers will withdraw, they have a Collaborative case.
Mercury Retrograde
You may have heard that today (April 18, 2010) the planet Mercury goes retrograde. Depending on your background and belief system, your reaction may range from "Oh no!" to "Who cares?" to "This woman is going to hell for believing in this."
Allow me to share my perspective. First, the Great Intelligence that created our planet/ our reality certainly could have set up a holographic system with correspondences to allow those with the inclination to read the stars in a way to aid in navigating Life. And - whether you call that Great Intelligence "God" or "the Universe" or some other name, I like this as a way to view Life. The movement of the planets, including our planet, in relationship with the stars that appear to be fixed in the sky - but we now know that we are all speeding through space - corresponds to cycles - psychological, emotional, social, etc. that occur at a personal level and a cultural level.
