The New Lawyer Tour

The New Lawyer Tour is an on-going project that aims to document and celebrate lawyers whose work distinguishes them as pioneers and innovators in peacemaking and champions of justice.

Publisher Kim Wright and Videographer Michael Matthews began the interviews in May, 2008 and have traveled through twenty-five states. They have conducted over a hundred interviews with interesting, inspiring lawyers who are leaders and innovators. Some of these interviews are interspersed into this web site but most are still in the process of editing.

Since we’re already filming, we’re also laying the groundwork to turn our film into a full length documentary (or possibly a series). We intend to distribute this documentary to law schools nationwide as well as to other media outlets, spreading the seeds of the ideas in yet another way.

All this is a part of the bigger mission of the magazine and movement. We're showcasing lawyers who are making this movement happen and providing role models and educational material for the New Lawyer.
