Tesler on Neurocollaboration at Straus
Pauline Tesler writes:
My colleague, author, psychiatrist and neuroscientist Tom Lewis, is working with me to put finishing touches on the course we are designing for the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution later this month, called "Neurocollaboration." The material is among the most intellectually exciting I've encountered in learning how to make the shift more fully into collaborative conflict resolution.
Tom is a remarkable presenter. Here is a link to a lecture he gave on the Google campus in 2007, about empathy.

Tom's mastery of multimedia presentation techniques is very impressive. Move the time slider ahead to the 20:40 minute point in the Youtube lecture to see one of many examples of the entertaining mode in which Tom teaches this intriguing material. (Needless to say, I won't be using any of my own text-heavy Powerpoint slides while teaching side by side with Tom.....)
There are still places open if you'd like to attend. The Malibu course, and the October presentation in Woodstock VT, may be the only "live" presentations that we do of this material, at least for a while.
