Continuing Education and Events The NYC Spiritlawpolitics group will hold a Fall dinner meeting on Wednesday December 9th, at 6PM. Location will be in someone's home and information is available from the organizer.
Reading for the gathering will include an article by Peter Gabel, “Critical Legal Studies as a Spiritual Practice”, which was circulated by separate email link and can be obtained from Nanette Schorr, the organizer. The piece, which was based on a talk Peter gave, was published by the Pepperdine Law Review, proposes that Critical Legal Studies (CLS) has the potential to provide us with an intellectual and scholarly rubric that will support the work of spiritual-legal-social transformation.
