Pro Se Nation -- How can we move closer to the ideal of justice for all?
Using the term pro se in the broadest sense, I am currently developing a documentary series called
Pro Se Nation: taking responsibility for oneself in the American Legal System. The purpose of the series is to inspire change in order to move closer to the ideal of justice for all. The series will explore all facets of our justice system and the growing pro se movement to find answers to critical questions such as:
-- What fundamental changes are needed in order to make the American legal system more accessible to the average person who is not trained in law?
-- How can the average citizen better prepare him or herself to deal with legal matters with or without an attorney?
I would love to hear your thoughts.
